Ajsav Kajrog & Neuf Meuf - Mesopust - SD-077

We at Spheredelic are starting into the month of July with a release from Slovenia. Ajsav Kajrog & Neuf Meuf is the name of this band, originally from Radenci (though if these are the artists real names we wont tell), the LP they are releasing with us is named „Mesopust“.

„Mesopust“ is, judging by the outer form of it, a typical shoegaze/drone record, here and there a few ambient sounds taken from a science fiction novel by Asimov. Lo Fi synthesizer sounds, real sounds made with real objects, a little bit of noise layered above or underneath, we know and heard all of this. But even though everyone cooks with the same ingredients, some burn their food, and others create wonderful dishes out of it. And this is where this record distinguishes itself from others, the love to the details, the arrangement and also in this playful-industrial sound, reminiscent of early Amon Tobin releases. And we all know what a wonderful sound-chef he turned into ;-)
