After a long and exhausting summer, filled to the brim with festivals, awesome concerts, some vacation for your mind and soul and an actually really hot summer up here at the baltic sea, we are back!
Why did we take such a longish pause? Well, first of all, summer! Also, one of the festivals was a very special one for us at Spheredelic, it was our 10-year anniverarsy! Yeah right, the netlabel Spheredelic has been founded ten years ago, also it was the tenth time there we managed an ambient floor at this one festival, Bachblyten. So we did party properly, with loads of good handmade music, tons of friends and family and loads of Spheredelic artists, obviously. Well, Asana, the label-founder, also blindly trusted one of his friends, believed in his musical taste, someone who finally started creating stories with music. So in this regard, thanks again Asana for giving me this chance to debut at your floor, a prime time slot even and for you always believing in the inner artist of mine. :-)
Well, enough chit-chat about us, we still got some new experimental music for you. And by experimental i really mean it, even compared to the music that we usually release for you folks. So, let's get started...
Death of the Gemini is the Alias as well as the name of the two title tracks. Yes, two songs, but these 25minutes of music feel much more intense than your regular ep. Loads of strange sounds, be it old electronics malfunctioning in the distance, gritty voice recordings of old radio hosts, dwelling on the miserable state of the world.
I am pretty sure some old horror movies got sampled as well... A violin with a distorted, almost weeping sound, eerie synthesizers haunting your ear, field recordings from an abolished warehouse and all of this has been transformed into this crazy, haunting collague-esque musical. Like a too realistic diorama of a zombie invasion, as if you'd look into the face of the archangel known as dystopia...
Here is our new release...
