In diesem Monat präsentiert euch Spheredelic das zweite Album, auf unserem Netlabel, von Dominic Razlaff, alias DR. Das Album mit dem Namen "Zerbrechlich" erinnert an seinen Vorgänger aus dem Jahre 2015, weiß jedoch durch die konsequente Weiterentwicklung durchaus zu gefallen und zu überraschen.

Anstatt sich mit den einengenden Gegebenheiten des Taktes abzufinden und sich mit den einhergehenden Bedingungen zu arrangieren, führt uns DR in die weite Welt des freien Klanges - eine Welt, in der Androiden und Dronen zu träumen pflegen.

Die Stücke haben allesamt gemeinsam, dass sie sich auf eine jeweilige Stimmung konzentrieren. Abwechslung bieten Variationen innerhalb des Klanges, welche durch an- und abschwellen verschiedener Schwingungen zu atmen scheinen. Essentiell dabei ist die Zeit an sich. Immer wieder spült sie eine weitere Facette an die Oberfläche und geht in der Wiederholung auf.

In this month Spheredelic presents the second album of Dominic Razlaff, alias DR, on our netlabel. The Album with the name "Zerbrechlich" remembers on it's predecessor from the year 2015, but with regard of the further development it knows how to please and surprises us.

Instead of finding out with the narrow conditions of usually beats and arrange with the accompanying terms, DR leads us to the wide world of free sound - a world, in which Androids und Drones tend to dream.

All of the Tracks have the common, that they focus on the respective mood. Diversities are provided by the variations of the tone, which seems be able to breathe because of the on- and off-swelling vibrations. The time is essential for this. Again and again it rinse a new facette to the surface and dissolves itself in the loop.

Spheredelic präsentiert im April die EP „From July to October“ von DR.

Hinter den Initialen DR verbirgt sich der Künstler Dominic Razlaff aus Braunschweig (D).
Der Ambient Musiker (geb. 1982) verwendet Synthesizer, Field Recordings, Tape Loops und einige digitale Effekte. Seine Musik zeichnet sich aus durch Melancholie, deepen Ambient und Drone Soundscapes.

Seine Stücke sind für das Genre ungewöhnlich kurz. Er ist vor allem am Klang interessiert und arbeitet sich voran mit klassischer substraktiven sowie Granularsynthese. Sein Equipment besteht aus der Novation-Xion und Fostex-15, den er benutzt, um eine klangliche Wärme zu erreichen. Zusätzlich setzt er auch Tape Loops ein, gelegentlich Pedale. Entspannt Euch mit seinen Perspektiven auf das musikalische Universum!

In April Spheredelic presents the EP „From July to October“ by DR.

Behind the initials DR stands the artist Dominic Razlaff from Braunschweig (D). The ambient musician (born 1982) uses synthesizers, field recordings, tape loops and some digital effects. His music excels in melancholy, deep ambient and drone soundscapes. His tracks are extraordinarily short - considering the genre.

In first case he´s interested in sound - approaching towards it he works with classic substractive synthesis as well as with granular synthesis. His equipment consists from a Novation-Xion and a Fostex-15, which he uses to warm up the sound. Additionally he works with tape loops, occasionally with soft-pedals. Relax with his perspectives on the musical universe!
