Somnambule & DubEcho live @ lalafestival 2016

SOMNAMBULE ist im Jahr 2006 von A.R.Funkhauser gegr¸ndet worden. Die Musik ist geprägt von sphärischen, manchmal fast schon epischen Flächen und Melodien, die oft durch sehr tief klingende Drums und Rhythmen getragen werden.

DubEcho ist das Projekt von Heiko Schulz-Kosel. Seit mehr als 20 Jahren ist seine Liebe zum Dub, in verschiedensten Variationen, ungebrochen.

Inspiriert durch das Jammen mit afrikanischen Roots-Reggae Artists hat er Ende der 90er begonnen, zusätzlich zu klassischem Jamaica-Dub, Ambient und Electro/Tech-Dub lieben zu lernen.

Seit einem Jahr arbeiten Somnambule & DubEcho an unterschiedlichen Fusionen der elektronischen und akkustischen Musik. Dabei kommen neben den elektronischen Instrumenten auch akustische Instrumente wie Tanpura, Shakuhachi, Klangschalen und Gongs zum Einsatz.

Wenn die beiden zusammen live spielen, ziehen ganze Galaxien vor dem inneren Auge vorbei. Dabei spannen Somnambule&DubEcho einen weiten Bogen von Ambient und Experimenteller Musik bis hin zu zu tanzbaren, technoiden Beats. Die beiden haben schon des ˆfteren live zusammen gespielt und ein Gig geht dann schon gerne mal zwei bis drei Stunden. Das garantiert wirkliche ein spannendes, auditives Erlebnis.

Somnambule was founded in 2006 by A.R.Funkhauser. The music is characterized by spherical, sometimes almost epic soundscapes and melodies that are often supported by very deep-sounding drums and rhythms.

DubEcho is the project of Heiko Schulz-Kosel. For more than 20 years, his love for dub, in different variations, is unbroken.

Inspired by the jamming with African roots reggae artists he started at the end of the 90. In addition to classic Jamaican dub, he learned to love ambient and electro / tech Dub, too.

Since a year Somnambule & DubEcho are working on different fusions of electronic and acoustic music. In addition to the electronic instruments, acoustic instruments such Tanpura, shakuhachi, singing bowls and gongs are used.

If the two play live together , whole galaxies pass along before the inner eye. Somnambule & DubEcho cover a wide range from ambient and experimental music to danceable, techno beats. They often played live together and a gig will take at least two till three hours. This guarantees an real exciting, audio experience.

Spheredelic geht auf eine Festival Tour im August. Vom 04.08. - 06.08.2017 ist das Spheredlic Audio Netlabel auf dem Bachblyten Festival bei Husum.

Dort versorgt euch Spheredlic mit Künstlern aus dem Ambient, Chill Out und aus dem Experimental Bereich auf der "Space Area".  Mit dabei sind die Live Acts Somanmbule, Superalma Project, B.Ashra, Devas und der Dj Brammer und die Djane Y-Luna. 

Weiter geht's mit dem nächsten Event vom 18.08. - 20.08, mit dem Lala Festival auf Hof Ovendorf bei Negenharrie. Dort präsentiert euch Spheredelic das Schlafzimmer.

 Gegen 2.00 Uhr nachts wird die „Wohnzimmer“ Stage in eine „Schlafzimmer“ Stage transformiert.

 Spheredelic präsentiert euch einen speziellen Live Act, bestehend aus den Projekten Somnambule, Devas und Dubecho. Diese Musiker haben sich zusammen getan, um euch mit Ambient Klängen auf eine Traumreise zu begleiteten. Speziell getunte Instrumente, die im Alpha und Theta Wellen Bereich liegen, werden das Schlafzimmer mit sphärischen Klängen einlullen. Das Set von den drei Acts geht ungefähr drei Stunden und danach wird euch SphereControl langsam und behutsam wieder zurück aus dem Traumland holen.

 Packt all eure Schlafsäcke, Schlafanzüge, Jumpsuits, Schnuffeldecken, Teddybären und was ihr sonst alles zum extrem Chillen braucht ein und lasst euch in den Schlaf wiegen - oder entspannt euch einfach nur….

Around 2.00 am the "living room" stage is transformed into a "bedroom" stage.

Spheredelic presents you a special live act, consisting of the projects Somnambule, Devas and Dubecho. These musicians have teamed up to accompany you with ambient sounds on a dream journey. Specially tuned instruments, which lie in the alpha and theta wave range, the bedroom will lull with spherical sounds. The set of the three acts goes about three hours and then SphereControl will slowly and gently bring you back from the dreamland.

Pack all your sleeping bags, sleeping suits, jumpsuits, cuddly blankets, teddy bears and whatever else you need to chill out and let yourself be asleep - or just relax.
