Spheredelic goes ona festival tour in August. From 04.08. - 06.08.2017 is the Spheredlic Audio Netlabel at the Bachblyten Festival near Husum.

Spheredlic provides you with artists from the ambient, chill out and the experimental area on the space area. Also included are the Live Acts Somanbule, Superalma Project, B.Ashra, Devas and the Dj Brammer and the Djane Y-Luna.

Let's continue with the next event from 18.08. - 20.08, with the Lala Festival at Hof Ovendorf near Negenharrie. There Spheredelic presents you the bedroom.

Around 2.00 am the "living room" stage is transformed into a "bedroom" stage.

Spheredelic presents you a special live act, consisting of the projects Somnambule, Devas and Dubecho. These musicians have teamed up to accompany you with ambient sounds on a dream journey. Specially tuned instruments, which lie in the alpha and theta wave range, the bedroom will lull with spherical sounds. The set of the three acts goes about three hours and then SphereControl will slowly and gently bring you back from the dreamland.

Pack all your sleeping bags, sleeping suits, jumpsuits, cuddly blankets, teddy bears and whatever else you need to chill out and let yourself be asleep - or just relax.

Letztes Jahr im November veröffentlichte die schwedische Electronic Schmiede Teenage Engineering den OP-Z, einen Multimedia Synthesizer im Hosentaschenformat. Bekannt wurde die kleine Firma mit den Pocket Operators und dem OP-1.

 Der OP-Z bedient nicht nur den Audiobereich mit Sequenzer, Synthengine, Drums und diversen Effekten, sondern auch Projektionen für Visuals mit Unity 3D und DMX Kontrolle für Lichtanlagen im Club und das Ganze synchron und in Echtzeit.

 Spheredelic präsentiert Euch in diesen Rahmen einen Live Gig mit Somnambule, der einen Live Act ausschließlich mit dem OP-Z spielen wird. Dabei werden auch Visuals mit Unity 3D parallel zur Musik gestreamt.

 Anschließend gibt es eine Aftershow Party mit „TENCHO“ Beats wie TE es sagen würde. Die Tencho Beats servieren uns P.Cobello (und ja, er wird Techno auflegen;-) und Spherecontrol.

 Ihr seid recht herzlich eingeladen, um mit uns zu staunen, was technisch im 21. Jahrhundert unteranderem so möglich ist. Wir freuen uns monstermässig auf den Abend und sind schon ganz aufgeregt...

Last year in November, the Swedish electronic forge Teenage Engineering released the OP-Z, a pocket-sized multimedia synthesizer. The small company became known with the Pocket Operators and the OP-1.

The OP-Z not only handles the audio section with sequencer, synth engine, drums and various effects, but also projections for visuals with Unity 3D and DMX control for lighting systems in the club and the whole thing synchronously and in real time. 

Spheredelic will be hosting a live gig with Somnambule, who will play a live act exclusively with the OP-Z. Visuals with Unity 3D are streamed parallel to the music.

Afterwards there will be an aftershow party with "TENCHO" beats as TE would say. The Tencho Beats serve us P.Cobello (and yes, he will play Techno ;-) and Spherecontrol.

You are cordially invited to marvel with us, what is technically possible in the 21st century, among other things. We are looking forward to the evening and are already excited...

Das Superalma Project ist ein Künstlertrio aus Brasilien bestehend aus den Bandmitgliedern Luiz Sangorgio (Gitarre, Bass und Vocals), Igor Almedia (Keyboard, Synthesizer, Effektgeräte) sowie Alan Alves (Videojockey). In tiefster Harmonie und gemeinsamen Zusammenspiel untereinander reihen diese Künstler krude Soundlandschaften, verstörenden Lärm, verzaubernde Melodeien, düstere Bilder und so viel mehr in ihr Liveset. In einem Moment wird man noch von den sphärischen Klängen in fremde Welten getragen nur um im nächsten durch fein eingestreuten Noise den Boden unter den Füßen wieder zu erlangen. Bevor aber auch dieser alsbald durch eine scheinbare Kakophonie von Drone und Ambient einem entzogen wird und man vor einem Soundungeheuer steht, das fordert, aber auch träumen lässt. Begleitet und unterstützt wird diese musikalische Reise durch die perfekt darauf abgestimmten Visuals...

Eines der Künstleraliase von André R. Funkhauser, der mit seinen elektronischen Instrumenten eine vielschichtige Soundlandschaft erzeugt, die sich von Electronica über Dub zu Noise und Drone und aus noch mehr Soundexperimenten und experimentellen Sounds zusammensetzt. Superalma Project

The Superalma Project is a trio consisting of the members Luiz Sangorgio (guitar, bass and vocals), Igor Almedia (keyboard, synthesizer, effects) and Alan Alves (Videojockey).

In deep harmony with each other these artist manage to string together dark soundscapes, disturbing noise, enchanting melodies, grime picture and so much more during their liveset. On moment you are drifting into unknown worlds, led by athmospheric sounds, just to get grounded again by mesmerizing blips of noise. But just long enough before drone and ambient, in a cacophony at first glance, and many more sounds push you in front of this monster of soundscapes that is challenging, but also deeply rewarding. Acompanying all of this are the visuals that enhance this dreamlike musical experience...

Um den Anlass gebührend zu feiern, haben wir für euch drei Live-Acts und vier Dj's am Start.

Zum einem wären da unsere Gäste aus Berlin/Argentinien "Yonic South", die seit einiger Zeit mit ihrem Programm durch Europa und die USA touren und im April ein Album auf Spheredelic veröffentlichen. Yonic South spielen eine Mischung aus elektronischer crossover Musik.

Dann haben wir für euch den Kieler Live Act Devas im Gepäck. Devas produzieren sphärisch-experimentelle und zum anderen mit rhythmischer oder jazziger Avantgarde-Musik mit sehr schönen Melodien und Flächen versetzte Klangteppiche, die mit der zauberhaften Stimme von JEWEL im Einklang schwingt.

Das Projekt Somnambule von A.R. Funkhauser ist auch mit dabei. Die Musik von Somnambule ist geprägt von sphärischen, manchmal fast schon epischen Flächen und Melodien, die oft durch Downbeats und dubigen Rhythmen getragen werden.

Gegen Mitternacht gehen wir über zu unserer Aftershow Party. Gemeinsam tanzen wir zu technoiden Beats und feiern was das Zeug hält! Unsere vier DJ's versorgen euch bis zum Morgengrauen mit feinsten Tracks und Tunes.

To celebrate the occasion, we have three live acts and four Dj's for you.

On the one hand, our guests from Berlin / Argentina "Yonic South", who have been touring their tour through Europe and the USA, and they released an album on Spheredelic in April. Yonic South play a mixture of electronic crossover music.

Then we have for you the Kieler Live Act Devas in the luggage. Devas produce spherical-experimental and, on the other hand, rhythmic or jazzy avant-garde music with very beautiful melodies and surfaces, offset sound rugs that resonate with the magical voice of JEWEL.

The project Somnambule by A.R. Funkhauser is also involved. The music of Somnambule is characterized by spherical, sometimes almost epic surfaces and melodies, which are often supported by downbeats and dubious rhythms.

Around midnight we go over to our aftershow party. Together we dance to technoid beats and celebrate what's going on! Our four DJs provide you with the finest tracks and tunes until dawn.

Spheredelic möchte mit euch das neue Release von Superalma Project, auf dem „The Spiritual Triangels“ Label, zelebrieren.

Die Veröffentlichung gibt es in Form einer Tape Cassette und trägt den Titel „Cura Circum Animum Mei Intorquet Ut In Sella Mei Sedeo“. Das Release erschien erstmals im März 2017, auf Spheredelic als Download. Natürlich wird Superalma Project das neue Album live präsentieren und zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Crossover Performance zusammen mit Somnambule aus Kiel. 

Zwei live Acts reichen natürlich nicht aus, um den ganzen Abend zu feiern und deshalb gibt es noch ordentlich technoide Mukke von den Dj‘s, die unter dem Motto „ LIMIT 110BPM“ auflegen werden. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein kleines Experiment. Die Dj‘s werden euch mit runter gepitchten Platten, mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 110 BPM, zum tanzen bringen. Vinyl Scheiben die auf 45 rpm abgespielt werden, drehen sich auf 33 rpm oder Produktionen die auf 127 BPM arrangiert wurden, erscheinen in einem neuen Glanz (Aspekt).

Wir sind auf alle Fälle echt gespannt und freuen uns schon monstermässig, um euch am Abend bis in den Morgen hinein, mit Downbeats zu verwöhnen und wir sind geehrt, das dritte Wiedersehen im Medusa mit Superalma Project zu feiern.

 Spheredelic wants to celebrate with you the new release of Superalma Project, on The Spiritual Triangels label.

The release is in the form of a tape cassette and is titled "Cura Circum Animum Mei Intorquet Ut In Sella Mei Sedeo". The release first appeared in March 2017, on Spheredelic as a download. Of course, Superalma Project will present the new album live and additionally there will be a crossover performance together with Somnambule from Kiel.

 And of course, two live acts are not enough to celebrate the whole evening and that's why there are still some technoid music from the Dj's, who will play under the motto "LIMIT 110BPM". This is a small experiment. The Dj's will make you dance with down-pitched records, with a top speed of 110 BPM. Vinyl discs playing at 45 rpm rotate at 33 rpm or productions arranged at 127 BPM appear in a new gloss (aspect).

In any case, we are really excited and are already looking forward to pampering you with downbeats in the evening into the morning and we are honored, to celebrate the third reunion in the Medusa with Superalma Project.

Starting into the new year 2020 the Spheredelic team has only one resolution: to keep on delivering new music to you! You want to listen to some music that's neither commercial, using the same samples as everyone else, autotune nor made for the sake of the artist? And instead you want more experimental sounds in alternative arrangements, thought-out concept records and other musical specialities? In this case just stick with us, cause Spheredelic hasn't released anything else in the last decade. And also will all our releases still be under the creative commons license. We just want to share good music with you! This has been Asana's goal since he founded this netlabel over ten years ago.

Well, Asana isn't only searching, finding and releasing all this contemporary music, he himself is an artist since his teenage years, be it as a guitarist in punk bands, spinning plates as an Dj for a plethora of electronic music since over twenty years. But at some point just djing wasn't enough for him, so he started to incorporate live instruments into his sets, so soon he used a keyboard swell, different synthesizers, drum pad and more. Currently his focus shifted to analog and modular synthesizers.

And henceforth our latest release, the 101st, is by none other than the label chef himself, starting the next round of a hundred releases at Spheredelic.

„Sleepassive“ is the name of his now fourth record, Somnambule is his artist alias. This record is filled with 19 track of finest analog synthesizer music, well double record to be honest, cause the runtime totals to a bit over 2h20m! Not only this will be a pleasant surprise for the listener, but also the genre. Cause if you've heard older releases by Somnambule, you'd expect some atmospheric drones or ambient soundscapes, the more chill and relaxing music for active listeners. But Somnambule expanded and evolved his style, the once chilled explorer of his inner soundscapes has awaken, getting up from his slumber and picking up speed and motion whilst doing so. Wobbly bass lines, sawtooth arpeggios and a forward pushing beat are now steady encounters in his new music, giving a new shape to Asana's latest entries in his repertoire. Of course this new music is, as it used to be, filled with melodic elements and sound fragments here and there, he still creates a sound carpet with it.

Though this new carpet is now made to be danced upon and not as previously, to just lay down on it, drifting away in the engulfing music...Another aspect of the album is that all tracks were recorded live as „one track recording“ in the OutaBed studio, so everything without any overdubs;-)

Für das neue Jahr 2020 hat sich das Spheredelic-Team nur einen guten Vorsatz vorgenommen: euch weiterhin mit neuer Musik zu versorgen! Ihr wollt mal wieder ein bisschen Musik fernab von Kommerz, todproduzierten Samples, Autotune und Starallüren haben? Und statt dessen mehr experimentelle Klänge in alternativen Arrangements, durchdachte Konzeptalben und andere musikalischen Spezialitäten genießen? Dann seid ihr bei uns weiterhin richtig, denn dies und nichts anderes veröffentlicht Spheredelic nun schon seit knapp über 10 Jahren. Und ja, natürlich werden sämtliche Releases weiterhin unter der Creative Commons Lizenz veröffentlicht. Uns geht es nur um die Musik und darum, sie mit euch zu teilen! Das war schon immer Asana's Ansatz, der deswegen auch vor einem Jahrzehnt dieses Netlabel gegründet hatte. 

Doch Asana sucht und findet nicht nur all diese kontemporäre Musik, er selbst ist schon seit sehr vielen Jahren als Musiker tätig, sei es in seinen Jugendjahren als Gitarrist in diversen Bands oder seit zwei Jahrzehnten als vielseitiger Elektro-Dj. Doch Musik nur von Platte aufzulegen reichte ihm nicht, also kam ein Keyboard dazu, diverse Synthesizer, Drum Pads und und und. Aktuell liegt sein Fokus auf analogen und modular Synthesizern.

Deswegen kommt unser neuestes Release, das 101ste, eben vom Label Chef persönlich und leitet damit die nächsten 100 Veröffentlichungen auf Spheredelic ein. :)

„Sleepassive“ hat er sein mittlerweile viertes Album getauft, Somnambule ist sein Künstler alias. Neunzehn neue Tracks feinster analoger Synthesizer Musik hat er für uns auf dieses Album gepackt. Naja, Doppelalbum trifft es eher, denn die Spielzeit beträgt insgesamt 2h20m! Nicht nur das überrascht den Hörer, wer die früheren Alben von Somnambule kennt, der erwartet ambientartige Klangwelten oder atmosphärische Drones. Eher die chilligere, entspannte Musik. Doch Somnambule hat sich weiter entwickelt, seine künstlerische Neigung verschoben, der ehemals entspannte Träumer im musischen Kopfkino ist nun erwacht, hat nicht nur Form, sondern auch Bewegung und Tempo aufgenommen und macht ebensolche Musik. Sägezahn Arpeggios, eine wobbelnde Basslinie und ein treibender Beat, sind nun oftmals formgebend für den neuesten Abschnitt in Asana's Repertoire. Natürlich sind die Stücke auch weiterhin mit vielen Melodien und kleinen Soundfragmenten gespickt, den Klangteppich erzeugt er damit immer noch. Nur ist dieser Teppich aus Sound zum dazu tanzen gedacht und nicht mehr, um darauf liegen zu bleiben und in Kopfklangwelten abzudriften. Ein weiterer Aspekt des Albums ist, das alle Tracks live als „One Track Recording“, im OutaBed Studio, eingespielt wurden, also alles ohne Overdubs;-)

Dieses Jahr gab es eine Menge Veranstaltungen die euch zum Tanzen gebracht haben. Um dieses Jahr ruhig ausklingen zu lassen, präsentiert das Audio Netlabel Spheredelic, am 20.12.2014, im Medusa, eine Ambient - Chill Out Veranstaltung unter dem Motto "Xtrem Couching Chill". Bei dieser Gelegenheit kann man mal so richtig abhängen, Sofa-Surfen und chillen und das einen ganzen Abend lang bis in die Morgenstunden hinein, um dann mit sanften Beats von der Reise zurück zukehren.  

Damit ihr so richtig abfliegen könnt, gibt es an diesem Abend vier Live-Acts. Mit dabei ist das Ambient Urgestein Dog Nobler, der mit seinen Live-Sets schon Kultstatus erreicht hat;  Kamee, die mit Ambient Beats ihre neue CD präsentieren werden, der Komponist und Pianist Hayk Ispiriyan, mit seiner Interpretation von Moderner Klassik und Devas & Somanmbule, die ein vierstündiges Ambient Traum Live-Set spielen werden (zzzzZZZ.....)....und DJ Brammer wird eure Reise zwischen den Umbaupausen begleiten.

Für die Optik wird das Team Moonmorview sorgen - das Auge hört ja mit;-). Auch für das leibliche Wohl wird gesorgt sein, es gibt leckere Speisen und Chai. Dazu wird der Veranstaltungsraum mit Sofas, Kissen und Matratzen bestückt, damit man so richtig abhängen kann. Das wird auf jeden Fall, ein extremes Couching werden.

Wer möchte darf natürlich gerne seine Kuscheldecke, Schlafsack, Jogginghose, Jumpsuit oder was man sonst noch alles für einen chilligen Abend zum Wohlfühlen braucht, mitbringen. Wenn ihr  das Jahr ruhig ausklingen lassen möchtet, seid ihr für diesen besonderen Abend, ab 21.00 Uhr, im Medusa, Medusastrasse 16 (Hinterhof), recht herzlich eingeladen. This year there has been a lot of events which made you dance. It´s time to celebrate the year´s end with chill. The audio netlabel Spheredelic presents on December the 20th an ambient-chillout event in Medusa. The credo is „Xtrem Couching Chill“. You can really hang out there, surf sofas until the early morning hours, returning from the trip with gentle beats.

There are four live-acts which are meant to make you fly in your mind. First of all there´s the ambient-dinosaur Dog Nobler who reached cult status with his live-sets, then there are Kamee who will present their new CD with ambient beats. The event will also be starring piano player Hayk Ispiriyan, presenting his interpretation of modern classic as well as Devas & Somnabule who will be performing a 4 hours long dream ambient live-set (zzzzzzz.....). DJ Brammer will back the modification breaks.

The team Moonmorview will be responsible for the visuals – the eye listens too :-). Also the physical well is granted by delicous food and chai. For the atmosphere - the event place will be filled up with sofas, cushions and matrasses - making it cozy. It´s definitley going to be an extreme couching.

If you want you can, of course, bring your favourite blanket, sleeping bag, jogging trousers, jumpsuit or whatever you need to feel comfortable.
