Mit „Non-Genesis“ veröffentlicht Spheredelic zum zweiten Mal, in diesem Jahr, ein Album von Superalma Project.

Dieser Release hat einen narrativen Faden, der sich durch das gesamte Album spinnt, einen Gegenentwurf zur biblischen Schöpfungsgeschichte, der Genesis. In der heutigen Welt, wo Trump Präsident ist, die Alt-Rechts-Bewegung so viele Anhänger hat, überall Terror auf unschuldige Menschen losgelassen wird, braucht es einen Neuanfang, eine Anti-Genesis bzw Non-Genesis, in der die Welt von all diesem Übel befreit, gereinigt wird. Dazu passend sind auch die Titel der in zwei Teile gegliederten LP, 'The Self-Disembowelment of God' sowie 'The Skies Above Declare the Death of God's Purpose for Mankind', thematisch und zum Teil musikalisch, lässt sich dieses Album wunderbar mit TOOLs Track ∆nema vergleichen.

Wie klingt nun dieses neue Werk von Igor Almeida, dem Künstler hinter Superalma Project? Im ersten Part erwartet uns ein ruhiger, melancholischer Einstieg, voller düsterer Klänge im Hintergrund, die vor sich hinwabbern, einzelne Geräusche, die verzerrten Engelsstimmen gleichen. Nach wenigen Minuten nimmt der Sound an Fahrt auf, die Geräusche werden dominanter, bis schließlich ein verzerrter Bass und Synthesizer einsetzen, die eine Endzeitstimmung heraufbeschwören, die sich bald auch wieder in sonderbare Geräusche auflöst, jene verzerrten Engelsstimmen, Geräuschartefakte und auch eine Orgel aus dem Jenseits. Noch mehr Noise und unverständliche Stimmen zerlegen die Song Struktur komplett, bevor zum Schluß des ersten Parts ein düster treibender Beat die vollständige Auflösung des Göttlichen erzählt.

Im zweiten Teil erzählt Superalma Project die Geschichte weiter, das wohlwollende Göttliche ist tot, die Zeit der Reinigung steht bevor. Traurige Klänge bereiten die Menschheit darauf vor, begleitet von einem ständig anwachsendem Beat und glitchy Sounds. Mal verstimmt all das und wir hören wieder verzerrte sakrale Sounds, bis dann doch wieder die Apokalyptische Stimmung einsetzt.

Mit dem Kontext einer 'Non-Genesis', versetzt dieses Album den Hörer auf eine Reise, in der die Geschichte, nicht durch Worte, sondern durch Klänge erzählt wird. Und genau so etwas sollte Musik schaffen können, was sie hier wunderbar demonstriert und mal wieder beweist, was für ein großartiger Künstler Igor Almeida ist.

With 'Non-Genesis', we at spheredelic are proud to release the second record by Superalma Project in this year.

This release has a specific narrative to tell, a counterpart to the biblical story of creation of all mankind, the genesis. In our modern world, where someone like Trump gets elected President, where the Alt-Right movement is gaining popularity, where innocent people have to suffer under religious terrorism, we need some kind of new beginning, a Anti-Genesis or Non-Genesis, cleansing the whole world. Fitting to this theme are also the titles of this two-part LP, 'The Self-Disembowelment of God' aswell as 'The Skies Above Declare the Death of God's Purpose for Mankind', having thematical and a bit musical similarities to TOOLs ∆nema.

So, how does this latest release by Igor Almeida, the mastermind behind Superalma Project, actually sound? The first part starts with calm, melancholic sounds, after a while dark noises in the background join in, some of them resembling distorted voices of angels. These gain more and more dominance in this soundscape, till a gritty bass and synthesizer transform this into some endtime is coming' hymn, which soon dissolves again into artifacts of noises, the aforementioned voices of angels and some strange organ from beyond. Then even more noise and unintelligible voices deconstruct this first part even further, with a gloomy beat telling the story of the complete annihilation of any benevolent deity.

In the second part the story continues, the benevolent divinity is dead, the time for cleansing is upon us. Sad sounds are preparing mankind for this Non-Genesis, supported by increasing dark beats and glitchy noises. A break in all of this makes place for some distorted sacral sounds, but not for long and the apocalyptical soundscape from before flushes it all away.

With the context of a 'Non-Genesis' in mind, this record places every avid listener on a journey, where the story is told not with words, but with music. And exactly that is the purpose of music and once more demonstatrates, what great a musican Igor Almeida is.

Spheredelic geht auf eine Festival Tour im August. Vom 04.08. - 06.08.2017 ist das Spheredlic Audio Netlabel auf dem Bachblyten Festival bei Husum.

Dort versorgt euch Spheredlic mit Künstlern aus dem Ambient, Chill Out und aus dem Experimental Bereich auf der "Space Area".  Mit dabei sind die Live Acts Somanmbule, Superalma Project, B.Ashra, Devas und der Dj Brammer und die Djane Y-Luna. 

Weiter geht's mit dem nächsten Event vom 18.08. - 20.08, mit dem Lala Festival auf Hof Ovendorf bei Negenharrie. Dort präsentiert euch Spheredelic das Schlafzimmer.

 Gegen 2.00 Uhr nachts wird die „Wohnzimmer“ Stage in eine „Schlafzimmer“ Stage transformiert.

 Spheredelic präsentiert euch einen speziellen Live Act, bestehend aus den Projekten Somnambule, Devas und Dubecho. Diese Musiker haben sich zusammen getan, um euch mit Ambient Klängen auf eine Traumreise zu begleiteten. Speziell getunte Instrumente, die im Alpha und Theta Wellen Bereich liegen, werden das Schlafzimmer mit sphärischen Klängen einlullen. Das Set von den drei Acts geht ungefähr drei Stunden und danach wird euch SphereControl langsam und behutsam wieder zurück aus dem Traumland holen.

 Packt all eure Schlafsäcke, Schlafanzüge, Jumpsuits, Schnuffeldecken, Teddybären und was ihr sonst alles zum extrem Chillen braucht ein und lasst euch in den Schlaf wiegen - oder entspannt euch einfach nur….

Spheredelic goes ona festival tour in August. From 04.08. - 06.08.2017 is the Spheredlic Audio Netlabel at the Bachblyten Festival near Husum.

Spheredlic provides you with artists from the ambient, chill out and the experimental area on the space area. Also included are the Live Acts Somanbule, Superalma Project, B.Ashra, Devas and the Dj Brammer and the Djane Y-Luna.

Let's continue with the next event from 18.08. - 20.08, with the Lala Festival at Hof Ovendorf near Negenharrie. There Spheredelic presents you the bedroom.

Around 2.00 am the "living room" stage is transformed into a "bedroom" stage.

Spheredelic presents you a special live act, consisting of the projects Somnambule, Devas and Dubecho. These musicians have teamed up to accompany you with ambient sounds on a dream journey. Specially tuned instruments, which lie in the alpha and theta wave range, the bedroom will lull with spherical sounds. The set of the three acts goes about three hours and then SphereControl will slowly and gently bring you back from the dreamland.

Pack all your sleeping bags, sleeping suits, jumpsuits, cuddly blankets, teddy bears and whatever else you need to chill out and let yourself be asleep - or just relax.

Das Superalma Project ist ein Künstlertrio aus Brasilien bestehend aus den Bandmitgliedern Luiz Sangorgio (Gitarre, Bass und Vocals), Igor Almedia (Keyboard, Synthesizer, Effektgeräte) sowie Alan Alves (Videojockey). In tiefster Harmonie und gemeinsamen Zusammenspiel untereinander reihen diese Künstler krude Soundlandschaften, verstörenden Lärm, verzaubernde Melodeien, düstere Bilder und so viel mehr in ihr Liveset. In einem Moment wird man noch von den sphärischen Klängen in fremde Welten getragen nur um im nächsten durch fein eingestreuten Noise den Boden unter den Füßen wieder zu erlangen. Eines der Künstleraliase von André R. Funkhauser, der mit seinen elektronischen Instrumenten eine vielschichtige Soundlandschaft erzeugt, die sich von Electronica über Dub zu Noise und Drone und aus noch mehr Soundexperimenten und experimentellen Sounds zusammensetzt. Eine Musik, stetig im Wandel, im Flow eines Audioautisten aber doch mit rotem Faden der einen von Passage zu Passage führt. Augen zu, Musik an, träumen...

The Superalma Project is a trio consisting of the members Luiz Sangorgio (guitar, bass and vocals), Igor Almedia (keyboard, synthesizer, effects) and Alan Alves (Videojockey).

In deep harmony with each other these artist manage to string together dark soundscapes, disturbing noise, enchanting melodies, grime picture and so much more during their liveset. On moment you are drifting into unknown worlds, led by athmospheric sounds, just to get grounded again by mesmerizing blips of noise. But just long enough before drone and ambient, in a cacophony at first glance, and many more sounds push you in front of this monster of soundscapes that is challenging, but also deeply rewarding. This month we from Spheredelic are happy to announce a new release by Superalma Project, whom already proved there huge musicality at the last party/concert hosted by Spheredelic. The not so very short title of the EP is 'Cura circum animum mei intorquet ut in sella mei sedeo', for a translation ask either the band or google, my latin is waaay to rusty...

The Superalma Project is a trio consisting of the members Luiz Sangorgio (guitar, bass and vocals), Igor Almedia (keyboard, synthesizer, effects) and Alan Alves (Videojockey).

In deep harmony with each other these artist manage, especially when live in combination with thei visuals, to create wonderful soundscapes that just invite you to wander inside them. Multilayered track with loads of changing dynamics, beautyful melodies in stark contrast to disturbed noisy sounds, a bunch of different effect as well as moods and many more these guys have packed into this 10 minutes of music. Yes, you read right, only 10 minutes but packed with ambient, dark, IDM, drone and so much more, an amount most other artist wouldn't have in a whole record.

Diesen Monat freuen wir uns bei Spheredelic über eine EP von Superalma Project, die im Rahmen der letzten Spheredelic-Party ihr großes musikalisches Können schon live demonstrierten. Der nicht ganz so kurze Titel der Ep ist 'Cura circum animum mei intorquet ut in sella mei sedeo', für eine Übersetzung bitte die Band (oder google) anschreiben, mein Lateinwissen ist längst vergessen...

Das Superalma Project ist ein Künstlertrio aus Brasilien bestehend aus den Mitgliedern Luiz Sangorgio (Gitarre, Bass und Vocals), Igor Almedia (Keyboard, Synthesizer, Effektgeräte) sowie Alan Alves (Videojockey).

Gemeinsam erschaffen sie, vor allem live in Kombination mit ihrer Videoshow, wunderbare Klangwelten, die einen zum darin reisen animieren. Vielschichtig strukturierte Tracks mit wechselnder Dynamik, schöne Melodien im Kontrast zu verzerrten Noisesounds, diverse Effekte und Stimmungen und noch mehr haben die Jungs in lediglich zehn Minuten gepackt. Ja, zehn Minuten voller Ambient, Dark, IDM, Drone und so viel mehr, viele Künstler schaffen so viele Ideen und Kompositionen nicht mal auf einem Album.

Spheredelic möchte mit euch das neue Release von Superalma Project, auf dem „The Spiritual Triangels“ Label, zelebrieren.

Die Veröffentlichung gibt es in Form einer Tape Cassette und trägt den Titel „Cura Circum Animum Mei Intorquet Ut In Sella Mei Sedeo“. Das Release erschien erstmals im März 2017, auf Spheredelic als Download. Natürlich wird Superalma Project das neue Album live präsentieren und zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Crossover Performance zusammen mit Somnambule aus Kiel. 

Zwei live Acts reichen natürlich nicht aus, um den ganzen Abend zu feiern und deshalb gibt es noch ordentlich technoide Mukke von den Dj‘s, die unter dem Motto „ LIMIT 110BPM“ auflegen werden. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein kleines Experiment. Die Dj‘s werden euch mit runter gepitchten Platten, mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 110 BPM, zum tanzen bringen. Vinyl Scheiben die auf 45 rpm abgespielt werden, drehen sich auf 33 rpm oder Produktionen die auf 127 BPM arrangiert wurden, erscheinen in einem neuen Glanz (Aspekt).

Wir sind auf alle Fälle echt gespannt und freuen uns schon monstermässig, um euch am Abend bis in den Morgen hinein, mit Downbeats zu verwöhnen und wir sind geehrt, das dritte Wiedersehen im Medusa mit Superalma Project zu feiern.

 Spheredelic wants to celebrate with you the new release of Superalma Project, on The Spiritual Triangels label.

The release is in the form of a tape cassette and is titled "Cura Circum Animum Mei Intorquet Ut In Sella Mei Sedeo". The release first appeared in March 2017, on Spheredelic as a download. Of course, Superalma Project will present the new album live and additionally there will be a crossover performance together with Somnambule from Kiel.

 And of course, two live acts are not enough to celebrate the whole evening and that's why there are still some technoid music from the Dj's, who will play under the motto "LIMIT 110BPM". This is a small experiment. The Dj's will make you dance with down-pitched records, with a top speed of 110 BPM. Vinyl discs playing at 45 rpm rotate at 33 rpm or productions arranged at 127 BPM appear in a new gloss (aspect).

In any case, we are really excited and are already looking forward to pampering you with downbeats in the evening into the morning and we are honored, to celebrate the third reunion in the Medusa with Superalma Project.
