In diesem Monat präsentiert euch Spheredelic das Album  von Superalma Project, einem Trio aus São Paulo und Belo Horizonte in Brasilien. Zuständig für Gitarre, Bass und Vocals ist Luiz Sangiorgio. Igor Almedia ist an den Synthesizern, Keyboards und Effektgeräten zu finden. Alan Alves versorgt die Leinwand während der Live-Auftritte mit entsprechendem Bildmaterial.

Die Musik von "Vigília" steht ganz im Zeichen verstörender Klangwelten und des gepflegten Horrors. Ein einfaches Rauschen schaukelt sich zu nahezu unerträglicher Spannung hoch, wechselt zu rhythmischen Passagen, um gleich darauf wieder in undefinierbare Abgründe des Klanges zu versinken.

Das Projekt kann als audiovisuelles Kunstwerk verstanden werden. Die ungewöhnlichen Geräusche, gepaart mit verschiedensten Videoaufnahmen aus den Bereichen Film und Dokumentation, werden in einen neuen Kontext gesetzt und erzeugen im Zusammenspiel mit der düsteren Musik eine schaurige Stimmung, die einem die Haare zu berge stehen lässt.

This month Spheredelic presents the album "Vigília" by the Superalma Project, a trio from  São Paulo and Belo Horizonte in Brazil.  Luiz Sangiorgio is responsible for guitar, bass and vocals. Igor Almedia plays synthesizers, keyboards and manages the effect-tools. Alan Alves provides the visual material projected on the canvas during their live-perfomances.

The music on "Vigília" comes along with unsettling soundscapes and a perfectly trimmed horror. A simple noise increases the tension to an unendurable point, moves on to rhythmic passages in order to dive the very next moment into an indefinable abyss of sound.

The project can be interpreted as an audio-visual artwork. The unusual noises take off to a new context supported by the most diverse video footage of films and documentaries. This combination lets an eerie mood arise, making your hair stand on end.
