Jared Sagar
Jared Sagar is a British composer of experimental music, working also in other genres such as micro sound, granular synthesis, ambient, drone, field recordings.
Before 2015 he was experimenting for a number of years with the manipulation of sound, learning about sound and what could be done with it. As a starting point he usually uses field recordings or other samples, then manipulates them beyond recognition.
Most works are minimal, concentrating on texture, shape and form. The sounds are evolving, never really staying still, there is always movement, always motion and progression, mixed with intensity and stillness.
