"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" which translated means: "In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming of".
What sounds a little unusual at first glance, is directly related to the cult of the deity Cthulhu - launched by the writer of horror and occult literature and the creator of the Cthulhu mythos, HP Lovecraft. This mysterious reference is clearly noticeable in the album "From The Heart Of Kalaallit Nunaat" by Bardo. The album deals musically with the enigmatic life in Greenland. The project began after BARDO has read the Saga "Peolpe of Ice" by Margit Sandemo and the book "Terror" by Dan Simmons. This was followed by personal visions and dreams of countries with icy conditions, which are reflected in the musical development.

BARDO is mainly working with acoustic and partly unusual instruments such as digeridoos, gongs, dunchen, singing bowls and a few more. These instruments are played with a lot of love to create so meditative soundscapes, inviting you to linger and brooding. Electronic effect devices are used but kept pleasant in the background. The percussion instruments are not set by BARDO for the rhythm, the sound is swinging for itself. BARDO leaves it in some of his pieces with the use of a single instrument. In this self-reduction, there are melodies that are able to tell a story. Parts of the album are even played live!

BARDO is a one-man band from Russia, consisting of Roman Krasovskii. BARDO comes from Khabarovsk, a city in the eastern part of Russia on the Amur River, near the Chinese border.
