Spheredelic is back from a long hibernation with “Grahtsyeh” by “IdontLikeTheCircus!”. The experimental sound and art project has been around for 20 years now. The founder Matt has already released two previous works with us and this time he brings us a project which includes music by many different international artists.

Our latest release is a re-release, so to speak. The LP "Elefusika" by EPIOS was already released in 2008 as a physical medium on CD. EPIOS is another project of label owner André R. Funkhauser and therefore he thought it was time to release "Elefusika" on Spheredelic.

Saint De L'Abime - Immortal Death Moral Money - SD-125

Another release on Spheredelic.com is ready, the 2nd release of the Greek project 'Saint De L'abime' on Spheredelic, which exists since 2009.
After the first release contained 3 tracks, this one consists of only one almost 30 minute epic track called "Immortal Death Moral Money" whose gloomy sound would have been perfect as a film score for every silent movie classic such as "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari", "Orlacs Hands", "Alraune" and of course "Nosferatu".

NonMiPiaceIlCirco! - TATHA GATE - SD-124

NonMiPiacellCirco!“ or „Idon’tLikeTheCircus!“ is a two person music project by Matteo Preabianca and Liang Siqi with an interesting interactive approach. They provide 14 tracks along with poems to be read out alongside the music on „Conditioned Production“, even encouraging people to record themselves and send it to them so they can create even more with these recordings.

Fake Plastic Heads and Johann Calderón - In Aeternum - SD-123

"In Aeternum" is the new ambient work by FPH and Johann Calderón. It is divided into two tracks of about 20 minutes each and inspired by the Zoroastrian religion, specifically by the so-called "towers of silence", also called Dachma. These towers are stone structures that protect the deceased from land predators, as the corpse should only be consumed by birds.

DZETA - Sorcières - SD-121

Despite the approaching heat waves - or perhaps even because of them - Spheredelic provides you with a soundtrack for warm, hazy and dreamy spring evenings and nights in May. Sorcieres, the new EP by French ambient solo project DzEta, is an unpretentious yet very opulent symbiosis of electronically influenced rhythms and classic instrumental post-rock. Hazy atmospheric planes of electric guitar melodies flowing into each other in front of rhythmic electric monotony - this characterises Sorcieres and its musical magic (French sorcières = witches).

Extremely distorted, synthetic soundscapes weave around the elegantly floating sound of an echoing electric guitar like glue dried into threads. Again and again, the organic resonance of the strings pervades the sticky, buzzing noise soundscapes, only to subside plaintively and drown in the digital flickering of the manipulated samples.

Spheredelic brings you a feast for the ears again, because with us there is no summer

Multi-instrumentalist and philosopher Michael Keith and David Sait on the Guzheng enchant us with their new record "Boketto". The focus here is on the guzheng, a Chinese instrument with 21 strings, for which David even wrote his own vocabulary.

Christian Fiesel - Darkness Rising Over The Plains - SD-114

Giacomo Triglia is an Italian music video director for Sony, Warner and Universal, among others. Recently he has also been publishing experimental ambient tapes under the name "Bolduchin". His debut is called "s / t", was released in April 2020 and is a studio album. "Shellac" however, his second release, now follows a year later, but this time it was recorded on analog tape.
