Saint de L'Abime - Thee Underground Ballroom - SD-145

A journey into the hidden spaces of sound – released on Samhain. When the boundaries between worlds begin to blur and darkness finds its own rhythm, the time has come for extraordinary sonic experiences.

Coinciding with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, Spheredelic presents a new release by Saint De L’ Abime, an experimental music project based in Athens, Greece. Thee Underground Ballroom marks the fourth release by this distinctive project on our label, continuing its exploration of the more experimental territories of electronic music.

Across two extended compositions, each approximately twelve minutes in length, a mysterious sonic landscape unfolds somewhere between Ambient, Drone and experimental Soundscapes. Dark, drifting textures, subtle sonic movements and abstract acoustic structures intertwine, creating an atmosphere that moves beyond conventional musical narratives. Instead, a space emerges somewhere between dreams, memories and the unknown.

Thee Underground Ballroom invites the listener to immerse themselves in these sonic environments, leave familiar listening habits behind and follow the hidden currents of the music. It is an invitation to listen closely, to explore and to discover those liminal spaces where sound and imagination meet.Traditionally marking the transition into the darker season of the year, Samhain symbolises the threshold between the visible and the invisible, the familiar and the unknowable. Within this context, Thee Underground Ballroom takes on a particular resonance: a sonic exploration of uncharted territories, where doors open only to those willing to listen.

Two tracks. Two sonic journeys. One hidden place beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality.

Spheredelic invites you to share this special moment with us and step into Thee Underground Ballroom alongside Saint De L’ Abime.

Happy Samhain – and welcome to the underground.
