Berlin-based artist and YouTuber Dr. Spree brings his uncompromising modular techno to Kiel. Driving beats and raw punk energy define his sound. Rounding out the lineup are Somnambule, Mutinies, manu facture, and malicious actor. The focus of this evening is on live techno—direct, spontaneous, and full of energy. An intense experience blending club culture, experimentation, and the dance floor.
1. Dr. Spree (Modular Techno, Electropunk from Berlin) Alexander Spree is a Berlin-based techno artist, producer, and classically trained clarinetist. He creates a distinctive sound that blends techno, industrial, and experimental sound art. As a co-founder of the AEOX project, he has released music on renowned labels such as Ostgut Ton, Tresor Records, Scandinavia, Null Records, and others. His high-energy live sets featuring modular synthesizers and Eurorack systems have taken him to well-known clubs such as Tresor, Panorama Bar, Watergate, 1040 Leipzig, and Cube X, as well as to festivals like Ferropolis, Superbooth Berlin, and the Hirschbar Open Air. 2. Somnambule (Modular Deep Ritual Techno) Andre R. Asana Funkhauser’s electronic music project focuses on techno-inspired sounds with tempos over 140 bpm, powerful percussion, and epic soundscapes.
